Teacher Resources Inc. is an educational technology firm founded by educators that has developed an innovative instructional system for use by classroom teachers. The founders of TRI and its employees are educators with extensive classroom and public school administrative experience. They are also the developers of an educational software system that is currently in use in more than 1800 schools that is used to keep students in school and on target to graduate.

This year, TRI introduced the STATIS© Learning management System that contains teacher lesson plans, diagnostic tests, and integrated remedial instruction. The product contains content for the core curriculum for English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies for grades 7. 8, and 9. Additional grade levels for the same subjects will be made available in year 2009.

The STATIS© system has been enhanced through the integration of student hand held response systems that will enable students to respond to test questions as a lesson is being taught. It will enable both teachers and students to receive real-time feedback regarding their performance. Students who fail a test will automatically receive remedial instruction generated by the system and which is tailored to their individual needs. The use of STATIS© by classroom teachers will reduce their workload by eliminating the need for teachers to create their own lessons, tests, remedial instruction, and the grading of assignments.
